Shark Fishing Equipment

If you go out for fishing in rivers or ocean shore then lighter fishing rods is best suitable equipment for it but when it comes to fishing in deep sea for larger fish, a stronger rod is required. So, fishermen use graphite for this purpose. However, it is clear that this material is not much flexible as compared to fiberglass. In all kinds of fishing rods, graphite is made use of due to its longer, wider and denser nature. So, it is popular everywhere. In case of fiberglass rods, they are not durable like graphite.

We use various shark fishing equipments like shark trolling & drifting lures, leader rigs, tooth fairy etc. if you are going out for deep sea fishing, you can target upon fishes like haddock, pollock, wolf fish, shark, swordfish, halibut, cod, wahoo, tuna, cusk, sailfish, rockfish, marlin and dorado by using these equipments. We can use ballyhoo too. We have other fishing equipments such as swivel handle gaff, which is great for pulling heavy fish into the boat and maneuvering. Using these equipments, we should always use natural prey like herrins (small fish), hermit crab, sand perch pilchards, lugworms, mackerel, threadfin, hermit crabs, squid, mussels, shrimp, sandeel and mullets. Also, while trying to attract sharks, we can use kingfish, grouper, snapper, wahoo and tuna.

During fishing, we should be careful to apply sunscreen and wash hands using non-scented water and soap. Around fishing cleaning tables, markers, docks and bridges, one can easily get good baits for deep sea fishing. We should also take rain gear to protect in case of unfavorable weather.
